Overview

Welltech is seeking a Privacy Counsel to lead and support legal and operational privacy work across its global product ecosystem, contributing to the mission of transforming lives through health and fitness innovation.

In Short

• Serve as a subject matter expert on global privacy laws.
• Own and evolve privacy-by-design reviews for new products.
• Develop and maintain internal privacy resources.
• Collaborate on data governance and incident response.
• Oversee Data Subject Access Requests and data deletion requests.
• Manage vendor privacy compliance and conduct assessments.
• Track regulatory developments for actionable advice.
• Support compliant ad tech and health data handling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in privacy/data protection law.
• Deep understanding of GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience in operationalizing privacy programs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-changing environments.
• CIPP/E, CIPP/US certification is a plus.
• Experience with digital health or wellness tech is advantageous.
