Overview

Zscaler is seeking a Privacy Counsel/Privacy Specialist to join its growing Legal team, supporting the development and improvement of Zscaler’s privacy compliance program.

In Short

• Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy, data protection, and AI issues.
• Provide business-focused guidance on data privacy and compliance matters.
• Review and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
• Stay updated with global privacy and data protection regulations.
• Work in a hybrid role based in San Jose or remote in the US.
• Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
• Assist with drafting commercial agreements for SaaS products.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders on privacy issues.
• Help manage privacy-related issues in vendor engagements.
• Make a high impact contribution to cloud internet security.

Requirements

• J.D. or equivalent international degree.
• 3+ years of privacy, data protection, and AI compliance experience.
• Experience with US and EU privacy laws.
