Backend Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Own end-to-end delivery of essential, new functionality for Rescale customers.
• Engage in regular, proactive work to assure systems performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain services that handle >250 reqs/s with challenging requirements.
• Work with teammates to maintain high quality automation for build, test, and deployment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building performant, non-trivial backend systems.
• High enthusiasm for supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
• Expertise or strong interest in Linux internals, concurrent programming, and distributed systems.
• Flexibility and dedication to work in a team and ship exceptional software.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
