Junior Management Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Junior Management Accountant will be part of the UK & I Asset Management department, providing financial support services across multiple clients managing renewable assets. The role involves ensuring timely completion of monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and compliance with financial regulations.

In Short

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including all journal postings.
• Manage and deliver cash flow forecasts.
• Debtor management for entities.
• Periodic financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Preparation of statutory accounts and annual audit.
• Support onboarding of new projects into the asset management portfolio.
• Continuous improvements to accounting and reporting processes.
• Business partnering with asset managers for internal reporting.

Requirements

• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Understanding of management and statutory accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102, and UK GAAP preferred.
• Experience in producing detailed management accounts.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• A team player with the ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving skills.
