Management Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Management Accountant at Livestock Information Ltd, you will be responsible for providing accurate financial information, conducting financial analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the company's financial health.

In Short

• Manage payroll functions using Xero Payroll.
• Ensure timely submission of PAYE and pension returns.
• Respond to employee payroll queries.
• Prepare VAT returns and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Liaise with auditors for annual monitoring.
• Analyze financial data for management decision-making.
• Work with cloud-based financial systems.
• Provide financial insights to aid planning.
• Contribute to the overall success of the finance function.

Requirements

• Experience with finance and payroll software, particularly Xero.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.
• Experience in payroll for small to medium businesses.
• Strong bookkeeping knowledge.
• Good database management and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical skills for financial assessments.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to generate reports from various data sources.
• Professional qualification such as AAT, CIPP, or CIMA.
