Senior Management Accountant - Remote

Overview

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by leading key aspects of the accounting function across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

In Short

• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly.
• Manage inter-company accounting and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial results, ensuring timely reporting.
• Assess operational performance impact on financial results.
• Perform technical accounting calculations and complex accounting tasks.
• Prepare VAT submissions and ensure multi-jurisdictional tax compliance.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation.
• Collaborate with the BC Support Team to enhance system efficiency and reporting.
• Prepare financial statements for multiple group entities.
• Ensure accuracy of financial reports, consolidations, and group-wide data.

Requirements

• Experience in a senior Finance role (Senior Management Accountant or similar) in a complex business environment.
• Strong group accounting knowledge & multi-entity management in multiple jurisdictions.
• Extensive management accounting & corporate transactions experience.
• Expertise in financial reporting & consolidations.
• Experience ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) & advanced Excel.
• Skilled in financial controls, analysis & problem-solving.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills (fluent English).
• Ability to prioritize & meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• High accuracy, attention to detail & leadership skills.
