Credit Controller - Remote

Overview

As a Credit Controller, you are responsible for managing accounts receivable, following up on all sales invoices, and ensuring their collection.

In Short

• Manage and monitor outstanding invoices within the accounts receivable portfolio.
• Timely written and telephone reminders to debtors.
• Follow up on daily correspondence via email and post.
• Receive payments and allocate credit notes.
• Register and follow up on complaints and handle telephone responses.
• Support periodic and ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Regular consultation with commercial and technical departments regarding ongoing disputes.
• Process actions taken in the debtor system.
• Prepare for writing off doubtful debts and signal failures for correct processing.
• Contribute to the further professionalization of the department.

Requirements

• Initial experience in credit control or invoice and payment processing.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Assertive yet diplomatic communication in Dutch and French.
• Enjoy autonomy and take responsibility for customer follow-up.
• Persistent in finding solutions.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
