Linux and Windows Systems Administrator - Remote

Overview

This role involves owning Linux systems and supporting the maintenance and monitoring of applications, including both custom and standard open source and proprietary applications.

In Short

• Plan, design, and build monitoring for Linux and Windows applications.
• Implement client-requested integrations.
• Support team in deploying updates and fixes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for issues.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Develop scripts to automate processes.
• Provide technical support for system troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Experience with version control system administration.
• Knowledge in Linux server administration (Ubuntu, Centos, Debian).
• Web server administration skills (Nginx, Apache).
• Database administration experience.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation.
• Understanding of Development Security Operations.
• Bash scripting experience (Python and PHP are a plus).
• Experience with infrastructure and event monitoring.
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization.
