Payroll Tax Analyst - PEO - Remote

Overview

Remote is looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to assist with the setup and launch of our expanded US Tax Operations services. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale a new business line from the ground up.

In Short

• Manage payroll-related state tax registrations and account maintenance.
• Perform daily tax-related operations, including tax filing and issue resolution.
• Provide feedback to ensure accurate tax registrations.
• Review and resolve inbound escalations related to tax issues.
• Develop and execute tax operations strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tax agencies.
• Analyze customer tax data to provide insights.
• Work autonomously and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll operations.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• High comfort level with technology.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience working remotely is preferred.
• Ability to work U.S. hours.
