Payroll Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Manage the end to end payroll process, including the application of processes and policies to ensure accurate payment of both weekly and biweekly payrolls.
• Be the primary point of contact for all employee payroll questions.
• Work closely with Accounting for proper recording of payroll activity to the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
• Drive process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and compliance.
• Manage benefit vendor funding for 401k, FSA, and HSA deductions.
• Execute and update payroll processes and workflows.
• Maintain and update general ledger codes associated with employees in the payroll system.
• Experience in a non-PEO environment with payroll processes.
• Work with the People Team to reconcile payroll logs and other pay items.

Requirements

• 4 years experience processing payroll in a non-PEO environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, data visualization).
• Experience reviewing and auditing timecards.
• Experience ensuring that pay rules are properly applied.
• Dayforce experience is strongly preferred.
