We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to support a UK-based employer in Sales at our client. As a South African professional, you will be working remotely to generate leads, book meetings, and close deals in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

In Short

  • Generate new leads through research, networking, and existing relationships
  • Book meetings with potential clients to discuss our client's services
  • Close deals by negotiating and finalising contracts with clients
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in Sales or Business Development
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Confidence using tools such as CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Previous experience working with UK clients or companies is advantageous
