Overview

Are you a confident business developer with a strong track record in international recruitment or executive search? We’re working with a highly respected UK-based executive search firm looking to expand its global reach. They are seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Developer to spearhead client acquisition and relationship growth across key markets including EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.

This is an ideal role for a self-starter who thrives in a high-trust, performance-led environment. You’ll take the lead on identifying new opportunities, pitching executive search services, and building long-term client relationships—while collaborating with expert delivery teams to bring leadership hiring projects to life.

In Short

  • Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities with global clients across targeted sectors (e.g. Life Sciences, Industrial, Supply Chain)
  • Lead client outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and virtual meetings to generate new retained or exclusive search projects
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior HR leaders, hiring managers, and C-suite decision-makers
  • Create tailored proposals and pitch executive search solutions that align with client needs
  • Collaborate with research and delivery consultants to ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records, BD pipeline reports, and activity trackers
  • Stay informed on global hiring trends and market shifts to inform business strategy
  • Represent the business with professionalism and credibility in all communications and presentations

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development within recruitment or executive search (international experience preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to win new client accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Experience in selling retained/exclusive recruitment services is highly advantageous
  • Solid understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition trends across international markets
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems, and digital outreach tools
  • Must have:
    • Laptop / PC
    • Reliable, high-speed internet
    • Professional home-working setup
