Remote Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Nurse to assist in transforming shorthand physician notes into comprehensive, compliant progress notes using Practice Fusion EMR. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, SOAP note formatting, and insurance documentation requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

In Short

• Convert shorthand physician notes into detailed, compliant progress notes in Practice Fusion EMR.
• Ensure all notes follow the SOAP format and meet insurance company requirements.
• Review patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Add relevant details, including history of present illness, review of systems, physical exam findings, assessment, and plan.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and billing standards.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify any missing or unclear information.
• Navigate and utilize Practice Fusion EMR efficiently.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date patient files.
• Work closely with the physician to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Perform regular audits of progress notes to ensure compliance.
