Construction Estimator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator with expertise in performing accurate and high-quality takeoffs for building and site concrete. The ideal candidate will have experience using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or a similar takeoff platform, with the ability to quickly adapt to OST if necessary.

In Short

• Perform clean, accurate takeoffs for concrete and reinforcement using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software.
• Ensure that all measurements and quantities are precise and properly formatted for seamless import into our internal estimating system.
• Interpret and analyze construction drawings and specifications to extract relevant data for takeoffs.
• Identify and account for site-specific factors that may impact material quantities and costs.
• Communicate and coordinate with the team to clarify project scope and requirements.

Requirements

• Prior experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) is strongly preferred, but candidates with experience using similar digital takeoff platforms will be considered if they can quickly adapt.
• Strong knowledge of building and site concrete, including reinforcement details.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Attention to detail, ensuring all takeoffs are clean, precise, and organized.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
