Estimator / Preconstruction - Remote

Overview

The Estimator prepares budgets and plans for potential commercial construction projects, responsible for preconstruction services and effectively projecting costs.

• Develop accurate forecasts of costs, size, and duration of projects.
• Participate in pre-bidding decision-making processes.
• Prepare estimates of materials, labor, and subcontractors.

• Maintain an open-ended database of proposal responses.
• Foster effective subcontractor relationships.
• Analyze data to produce accurate forecasts.

Requirements

• 5 years of construction estimating experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting and project management.
• Advanced understanding of estimation metrics and data analysis.
• BS/BA in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is a plus.
• Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
