Overview

The Sales & Business Development Manager for Data Centers is responsible for generating and developing national sales opportunities while promoting Clarke Energy’s offerings and building customer relationships.

In Short

  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Generate and develop national sales opportunities.
  • Meet with prospective and existing customers to build a proposals pipeline.
  • Manage customer records and prepare technical and commercial quotations.
  • Provide market and competitor feedback to the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate technical risks and commercial terms.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Attend conferences and exhibitions as required.
  • Support the sales stage of projects ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Work extensively throughout the Northeast and across the U.S.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or similar technical subject.
  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Proven success in technical sales with strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and time management skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
