Overview

The Medical Specialist I for Cardiometabolic Rare Disease is responsible for engaging with Cardiologists and key healthcare providers to promote Regeneron's products and increase disease awareness.

• Develop and execute strategies for Cardiometabolic Rare Disease.
• Engage with healthcare professionals to promote product utilization.
• Maintain and craft Account Profiles for key stakeholders.
• Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts with Specialty Pharmacy.
• Establish relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare.
• Conduct market analysis to find opportunities for the Cardiovascular business.
• Present Regeneron brands in a compliant and effective manner.
• Monitor operating costs and adhere to budget compliance.
• Travel regularly within the assigned geography.
• Work in alignment with Regeneron's core values and integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of account sales experience in pharmaceuticals.
• 3+ years of experience in Cardiovascular and/or biologic sales.
• Experience in Rare Disease sales is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal and consultative selling skills.
• Experience with large Cardiology group practices preferred.
• Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy and buy & bill products.
• Ability to manage multiple call points effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Experience in closed Health System account management preferred.
