Senior Accounting and FP&A Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who can balance hands-on accounting responsibilities with financial analysis and planning. This role will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, delivering insightful reporting, building budgets and forecasts, and helping scale our financial processes as we grow.

In Short

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Assist with revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Prepare, monitor, and update budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify trends.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning.
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insights.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and vendors.
• Implement and optimize financial systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to translate financial concepts.
• Experience with medical billing or revenue cycle management.
