In Short

• Lead daily operations of accounting, payroll, and procurement functions.
• Own the month-end close process and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvements.
• Manage a team of four accounting professionals.
• Oversee corporate payroll for a fully remote workforce across ~30 states.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Drive process enhancements and system improvements.
• Manage key financial/accounting systems.
• Partner with various departments for procurement processes.
• Support management reporting and business insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and others.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
