Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

Ramp is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining positive relationships with vendors.

In Short

• Manage accounts payable and cash disbursement processes.
• Record and reconcile cash transactions in Netsuite.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end reports and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce payment delays.
• Work with other teams to enhance Ramp's solutions.
• Ad-hoc accounting and finance requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting and AP.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience with expense management/AP software.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong data entry and analytical skills.
