In Short

  • Support technical aspects of sales by articulating Rain’s technical value proposition and product capabilities.
  • Prepare and develop technical demonstrations in order to explain our company's products or services to customers.
  • Manage the end-to-end RFP process, ensuring comprehensive and competitive submissions.
  • Facilitate the handoff process between sales and implementation teams, ensuring a smooth transition and clear communication.
  • Engage in executive-level discussions and presentations with potential clients.
  • Discuss and invoke conversation around needs and pains in the HR tech space with customers.
  • Maintain CRM with accurate and up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support both before and during calls.
  • Listen to customers' technical requirements and needs and relay this feedback/information back to the product for development.
  • Assist in training members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRMs (Hubspot preferred), and a clear understanding of the technical sales process.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales or in an SE capacity supporting SaaS, B2B sales.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • The ability to relay technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for winning, with a team player mentality.
  • The ability to be resourceful and motivated to succeed.
