Overview

As an L2 AWS Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for AWS-based solutions, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to networking, security, and automation.

In Short

  • Provide advanced technical support for AWS solutions.
  • Troubleshoot networking and storage issues.
  • Analyze application performance on AWS infrastructure.
  • Develop scripts for routine tasks using Python and Bash.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Create and manage EKS clusters.
  • Configure backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor and optimize AWS resource utilization.
  • Assist Level 1 engineers and mentor them.
  • Collaborate with application teams for effective service management.

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of AWS core services.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS automation and scripting.
  • Experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Understanding of AWS security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate preferred.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional preferred.
