Business Intelligence Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role is a blend of technical expertise in data engineering and business intelligence analytics, responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and delivering insights through advanced BI tools.

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Optimize and manage data storage solutions such as relational databases and cloud-based warehouses.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with policies.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Provide technical expertise to optimize BI tools.
• Perform ad-hoc data analyses for specific business questions.
• Communicate complex data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.
• Experience with data integration solutions and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools and cloud platforms.
• Advanced experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
