Business Intelligence Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible for helping to develop and manage our current data pipeline, reporting to the Manager of the Business Intelligence group and integral in designing the underlying data organization and structure for multiple games.

In Short

• Become an expert on all aspects of Daybreak’s data infrastructure
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Daybreak’s current data pipeline
• Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases
• Provide hands-on implementation and expertise around data warehouse and ETL subsystems
• Monitor production databases for potential migration issues
• Implement data streams through collaboration with other departments
• Help analysts with reporting tasks and data meaning/location

Requirements

• Mastery of SQL and Excel
• Strong knowledge in determining current data structures and systems
• Experience with writing ETLs
• Experience with building data warehouses and dimensional modeling
• Knowledge of best practices for development
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Exposure to C#, Java, or other high-level programming languages
• Some understanding of Python or R
• Experience with TB/PB level data systems
• 4+ years of experience in data management and business intelligence
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
