Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Accountant, you will be a positive contributor to the Accounting and Finance team by performing essential accounting duties such as customer invoicing, AR collection, AP review, payroll, journal entries, and other related duties.

In Short

• Support Accounting team month-end close process
• Process customer invoices in a timely manner
• Monitor Accounts Receivable, communicate with customers & project managers as necessary
• Assist program managers in tracking and preparing project financial reports
• Review and approve supplier invoices
• Create and post general ledger journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Payroll processing and ownership
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• BA/BS in finance or accounting
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills
• Solid communication skills at all levels
• Ability to identify and report problems
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
