Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant will support the financial operations of God Restoring Order (GRO) Community by maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

In Short

• Remote position with full-time hours.
• Maintain monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist in audit preparation and annual tax filings.
• Prepare quarterly and annual funder reports.
• Identify and analyze budget variances.
• Manage Accounts Payable and reconcile Accounts Receivable.
• Work under the guidance of CFO and Accounting Manager.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Remote work setting with occasional on-site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• Accounting certification (CPA) desired.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
• Experience with grant billing and collections preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing preferred.
• 1 year of GAAP experience preferred.
