Overview

As a Thermal Engineer at Quartus Engineering, you will engage in thermal analysis and create analytical models to support aerospace advancements.

In Short

• Create thermal analytical models using CAD/CAE software.
• Perform thermal analysis including steady state, transient, and on-orbit solutions.
• Lead analysis-driven design efforts.
• Present findings to project teams and customers.
• Create reports documenting analysis results and conclusions.
• Plan and lead thermal tests, including TVAC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements.
• Utilize simulation tools for design validation.
• Support FAA certification processes for aircraft.

Requirements

• BS or MS in mechanical, aerospace, structural, or similar engineering field.
• 0-3 years of experience in thermal design, analysis, and testing.
• Experience with Thermal Desktop preferred.
• Familiarity with ANSYS is a plus.
• Willingness to learn STOP analysis.
• Experience with spacecraft and optical systems preferred.
• US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident).
