Overview

True Anomaly seeks a creative Thermal Engineer to develop new spacecraft, working with a multi-disciplinary product team to rapidly develop and produce new space systems.

In Short

  • Lead the design, analysis, and validation of thermal control systems for spacecraft.
  • Develop detailed thermal models using tools such as Thermal Desktop and ESATAN.
  • Perform integrated thermal analysis for heater/radiator sizing.
  • Design and develop drawings for thermal control components.
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate thermal solutions into spacecraft designs.
  • Define and oversee thermal testing campaigns.
  • Support on-orbit operations.
  • Perform trade studies for thermal design optimization.
  • 5+ years of experience in space thermal analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in space thermal analysis.
  • Proficiency in Thermal Desktop and Solidworks.
  • Ability to lead projects and manage schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
  • Passion for the space industry.
  • Experience with thermal testing and instrumentation preferred.
  • Master’s degree in aerospace is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
