In Short

  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define mission objectives.
  • Conduct architecture and system trade studies.
  • Design and analyze orbital trajectories.
  • Perform detailed orbital analysis and trajectory optimization.
  • Develop and validate software tools for mission analyses.
  • Generate mission timelines and operational plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines.
  • Support mission planning and operations.
  • Synthesize complex simulations into concise recommendations.
  • Work proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (MS preferred) in engineering, physics, math, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years experience in modeling & simulation tools.
  • Experience with astrodynamics and orbital mechanics.
  • Proficiency in orbital mechanics tools (STK, GMAT, FreeFlyer).
  • Ability to create new mission analysis tools.
  • Experience with physics-based simulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Python; C++ experience is a plus.
  • Experience with cislunar or interplanetary operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with space situational awareness tools is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: DEN: $95,000 - $165,000 | LA: $105,000 - $170,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO, and paid holidays.
  • 401K and Parental Leave.
