In Short

  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of real-time embedded flight software for spacecraft systems.
  • Perform in-depth requirements analysis, verification, and validation.
  • Direct system integration, testing, and deployment of embedded software.
  • Optimize embedded software for time-critical operations.
  • Provide technical leadership in the integration of embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvements in software development processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in C, C++, and Rust.
  • Proven expertise with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Deep understanding of microcontroller/microprocessor-based development.
  • Extensive experience with system integration and testing.
  • Expertise in embedded performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong experience reading and interpreting schematics and hardware documentation.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $160,000 - $210,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave.
