Commissioning Engineer - Remote

Overview

The COMMISSIONING ENGINEER is an integral person in helping our customer’s vision for an automated storage solution from Movu US come to life. The core objective is to commission our storage solutions and integrate them with the customer’s warehouse operations.

In Short

• Responsible for setup, configuration, and integration of automated warehouse systems.
• Interface with Warehouse Control Systems and customer IT systems.
• Manage the complete commissioning process from preparation to Go Live.
• Perform PLC software configuration and live testing.
• Work on electrical, mechanical, and communication protocols.
• Support on-site and remote troubleshooting during commissioning.
• Create and deliver comprehensive reports and technical procedures.
• Train integrators and customer staff.
• Identify and solve technical challenges for system optimization.
• Flexible work schedule with travel across the USA and Canada.

Requirements

• Experience with installing/commissioning automated systems.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical and robotic systems.
• Experience with PLC programming and conveyor systems preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechatronics or Automation.
• Affinity with programming languages preferred.
