Field Commissioning Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Commissioning Engineer is responsible for commissioning, modifying, troubleshooting, and supporting equipment at customer locations, ensuring high-quality work while traveling extensively.

In Short

• Commission automated controls for equipment.
• Design and execute acceptance test procedures.
• Create and review technical documentation.
• Provide technical interface between customer and Project Manager.
• Remote technical support for customers.
• Interpret circuit diagrams for installation and troubleshooting.
• Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs.
• Program and maintain Fanuc Robots.
• Travel domestically and internationally 80% of the time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams.
• Experience with Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Remote software handling experience.
• Basic database functionality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Heavy lifting/material handling skills.
• Strong time management ability.
