Triage Agent - Remote

Overview

The Triage Agent is responsible for performing effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients based on their needs while maintaining high-quality standards.

In Short

• Answer phones and return voicemails to handle all questions and/or transfer accordingly.
• Understand and relay stat emergent situations and pathology results.
• Relay pathology results including biopsies and schedule returns.
• Document all conversations appropriately in EMA.
• Schedule various surgeries according to provider specific needs.
• Prioritize skin cancers based on various factors.
• Explain Mohs procedures to patients.
• Perform pre-op assessments and send in required medications.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to understand and use basic medical terminology.
• Experience with patient scheduling.
• Familiarity with EMA/EMR systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
