Overview

Qdrant is a fully remote cutting-edge technology company specializing in open-source Vector Search designed for next-generation AI applications. We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in building robust, scalable systems and a product-oriented mindset.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain backend services powering customer-facing features and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to shape APIs and flows that are both technically solid and user-friendly.
• Contribute to internal and external integrations (e.g., cloud marketplaces, partner APIs, or payment providers).
• Extend monitoring, observability, and alerting across systems to ensure reliability.
• Drive implementation of backend logic related to reporting, usage metering, entitlements, or similar operational concerns.
• Translate compliance, analytics, or business needs into sustainable backend architecture.

Requirements

• Preferred Tech Stack
• Backend: Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, etc.)
• Databases: PostgreSQL and other relational databases
• Cloud: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure
• Frontend (optional): Familiarity with React, Vue, or similar reactive frameworks
• Bonus: Go experience, gRPC, or event-driven systems
