Forward Deployed Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Qdrant, you will work directly with customers to implement advanced vector search solutions, bridging the gap between client needs and core technology.

In Short

• Work closely with customers to design and optimize vector search applications.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years in software engineering or solutions architecture.
• Strong DevOps/MLOps skills; hands-on K8s experience required.
• Proficient in Python, JS/TS, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of vector search and machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with APIs, databases, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a remote, async-first startup environment.
• Prior experience in developer relations or pre-sales engineering.
