Overview

The Legal Operations Specialist will assist the Litigation Counsel and support Field Operations and Corporate groups with various legal and compliance issues, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to legal standards.

• Provide legal compliance guidance for field operations.
• Manage service of process and case assignments.
• Maintain and update the legal database.
• Oversee outside counsel and track legal spend.
• Prepare financial reports and budgets.
• Respond to subpoenas from various entities.
• Assist with small claims and eviction cases.
• Support commercial real estate group with evictions.
• Provide monthly reporting on legal metrics.
• Assist with discovery documentation for outside counsel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience with legal databases like CounselLink and Westlaw.
• Prior administrative support experience for legal professionals.
• Litigation support experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Self-starter with strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
