Internal Field Auditor - Remote

Overview

The Internal Auditor will work with the Internal Audit Services group to provide independent assurance and advisory services designed to assist management in meeting strategic objectives while promoting the efficient use of internal controls and safeguarding company resources.

In Short

• Conduct on-site property audits and investigations.
• Perform due diligence reviews at potential acquisition properties.
• Evaluate internal controls related to financial, operational, and compliance objectives.
• Analyze trends and anomalies in operational and financial data.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
• Assist in special examinations and projects as requested by management.
• Frequent travel to various company locations is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive business or operational experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong teamwork and innovative thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 85% of the time.
