HR Generalist (Part-time) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to join Milestone One, playing a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations and ensuring compliance with HR practices.

In Short

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees.
• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees.
• Administer employee benefits programs and communications.
• Manage employee leave programs, including FMLA and state-specific leaves.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS.
• Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Support payroll processing and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement solutions for employee motivation and engagement.
• Coordinate background checks and ensure report accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Familiarity with state-specific employment regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; HRIS experience is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Practical payroll calculation skills is a plus.
