HR Generalist (Part-time) - Remote

Overview

The HR Generalist is responsible for the processing of payroll, benefits & retirement programs, and HR administration in the USA. The incumbent will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding/offboarding processes.

In Short

• Accurately calculate and process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external legislation.
• Administer COBRA and manage payroll deductions.
• Support payroll tax reporting and audits.
• Oversee employee benefit programs and retirement plans.
• Manage the Annual Benefits Open Enrollment cycle.
• Provide HR and payroll-related support to employees.
• Responsible for full-cycle recruitment processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Collaborate with the North American HR Team on HR processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in HR roles focusing on Payroll and Benefits.
• Deep understanding of payroll laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with payroll software like Paycor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with remote teams.
• SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
