In Short

  • Own the top of the sales funnel: generate and qualify outbound leads with innovative, Seed and Series A high-growth tech startups.
  • Craft compelling outreach and create stellar first impressions that spark curiosity and open doors.
  • Book meetings for Greg with startup leaders (CEOs, CTOs, Heads of People/Product).
  • Use tools like Lemlist, Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn, and email sequencing to research and target ideal clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Greg to shape outreach campaigns and sharpen messaging.
  • Keep things tight in the CRM, we run lean, smart, and data-driven.
  • Learn fast from every interaction to refine your approach and boost results.
  • Eventually take ownership of early intake conversations post-close - teeing up our recruiters to deliver the magic!

Requirements

  • 2+ years of BDR/sales experience—SaaS, recruiting, or startup experience preferred.
  • Fearless on the phone—you’re confident reaching out to busy founders and startup leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication—you write clean, compelling emails and speak with clarity.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you’re building this with us, not just following a playbook.
  • Exceptional client curiosity—you love asking great questions and diving deep into potential and existing client goals and pain points.
  • Coachable and hungry to level up—we’ll show you how we currently do things, and expect you to make it better.
  • Relentless drive, resourcefulness, and an appetite to win.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity—actually, you prefer it.
  • Bonus: existing relationships with startups or LP’s, Venture Funds, Private Equity, communities and experience selling into startups or Talent teams.
