Overview

As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery.

In Short

  • Full-Time position in Richmond/Henrico, VA area.
  • Monday-Friday, Dayshift with some weekend shifts required.
  • Provide non-clinical support in a physician's office.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments.
  • Ensure excellent patient experience.
  • Teamwork is essential for patient care delivery.
  • 3 years of Customer Service experience required.
  • 1 year of experience with Health Insurance Plans and Medical Records required.
  • High School Diploma or Associate Level degree or higher considered.

Requirements

  • 3 years of Customer Service experience.
  • 1 year of experience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records, or Scheduling.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • High School Diploma or higher education.
