Sentara is currently hiring a Patient Care Technician to work at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital located in Virginia Beach on Intermediate Care Unit 4B. This role involves providing essential care to patients in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team.

In Short

• Full-time position on night shift from 7pm to 7am.
• Work in a 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit.
• Support admission/discharge processes and provide daily patient care.
• Perform tasks such as taking vitals, drawing blood, and foley catheter care.

Requirements

• One year of prior healthcare experience preferred.
• American Health Associate BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Completion of specific healthcare certification programs or current clinical students.
• Experience as a PCT or Nursing Assistant within the last three years is beneficial.
