Legal Intern - Remote

Overview

Proof is looking for a thoughtful, communicative, curious, and motivated individual to join our remote-first team as a Legal Intern. In this role, you’ll primarily focus on contract negotiations but you will have the opportunity to work on projects related to other types of in-house legal support. You’ll work with leaders and teams across the organization as you assist in streamlining processes to foster effective cross-functional collaboration and researching cutting edge issues.

In Short

• Support the Commercial Transactions team responsible for negotiating contracts.
• Aid in researching legal issues for the Proof Legal team.
• Review and revise company policies for legal compliance.
• Assist with automation to improve in-house legal support efficiencies.
• Fully remote position in the U.S.
• $20/hour pay rate.
• 40 hours per week commitment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in law school as a 2L.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Motivation to learn and grow.
• Prior internship experience is a plus.
• Exposure to the SaaS/tech industry is a plus.
