Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant at Progress, you will help propel our business forward while working remotely. This role involves collaboration with a dynamic team and exposure to essential accounting processes.

In Short

• Support major accounting processes including General Ledger Close and Reporting.
• Perform month-end closing and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Review work of staff accountants and support audit teams.
• Assist in developing new processes as the business grows.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Handle additional projects as assigned by the Senior Manager of Accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2-4 years of experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred; CPA is a plus.
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, particularly in data consolidation.
• Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude.
