Commercial Real Estate Paralegal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to join our legal team to support our commercial real estate operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with lease administration and documentation. This role will report to the General Counsel.

In Short

• Maintain comprehensive lease tracking calendar for critical dates and deadlines
• Prepare initial drafts of lease amendments, estoppel certificates, and related documents for attorney review
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on lease matters
• Coordinate with in-house and outside counsel to maintain lease templates
• Organize and maintain lease files and supporting documentation
• Prepare lease summaries and reports for internal stakeholders
• Manage calendars and internal communication for lease renewals and terminations
• Liaise between legal, operations, and finance departments on lease administration
• Experience with medical office leases and healthcare facilities documentation
• Familiarity with lease assignment and sublease documentation

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experience with lease abstracting and creating comprehensive lease summaries
• Familiarity with CAM reconciliations and operating expense reviews
• Ability to track insurance certificates and compliance documentation
• Experience coordinating lease-related payments with Finance department
• Knowledge of estoppel certificates and SNDAs
• Experience with lease termination and restoration requirements
