Senior Enrollment Systems Manager - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Enrollment Systems Manager is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and optimization of enrollment tables within the athenahealth system, ensuring seamless electronic transactions for Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) enrollments.

In Short

• Configure and maintain payer enrollment tables within the athenahealth system.
• Act as a liaison between athena, credentialing, enrollment and RCM teams.
• Ensure proper alignment of payer IDs and provider group enrollments.
• Oversee payer ERA and EFT enrollment submissions.
• Monitor released claim activity and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Work with finance teams for banking setup and reconciliation.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer regulations.
• Monitor payer bulletins for updates impacting transactions.
• Develop standard operating procedures for enrollment processes.
• Generate and analyze athena enrollment reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in provider enrollment or healthcare IT.
• Strong knowledge of athenahealth system and payer enrollment workflows.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions and HIPAA standards.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and EHR/PM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities collaboratively.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
