Overview

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer II is responsible for design and implementation of manual testing solutions for new product development and business unit operations. This position interacts with architects, product owners, and other engineers to ensure software meets quality standards throughout the delivery process.

In Short

  • Create and implement testing frameworks for data operations related to our SaaS solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product owners to understand functional requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Perform regression testing and validate new features and enhancements
  • Use bug tracking system to document defects and report them to developers
  • Conduct performance testing and monitor system behavior under load
  • Develop and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, particularly in AI and GenAI solutions, to enhance testing practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • 3+ years of experience in testing SaaS applications and data operations
  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Expertise working in Windows and Unix ecosystems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
