Health IT Specialist EHR - Remote

Overview

This is a 100% remote opportunity, working East coast hours. As a Health IT Specialist, you will identify opportunities for improvement within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with goals related to patient care and improve the end user’s experience.

In Short

• Identify gaps/barriers within EHR systems.
• Problem solve and provide solutions for EHR gaps.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety.
• Develop comprehensive plans for priority institutions.
• Conduct needs assessments to address patient safety gaps.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
• Share Health IT insights with appropriate stakeholders.
• Assist in optimizing EHR systems for patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• 5 years of experience with EHR software, preferably in a leadership role.
• Clinical IT or Clinical Informatics experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, interoperability, and software build.
• Ability to discover issues and problem solve.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Team player with flexibility.
• Willingness to travel overnight.
