Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will manage incoming and outgoing payments, maintain accounts receivable, and ensure smooth invoice processing.

In Short

• Ensure timely processing and booking of incoming invoices.
• Proactively manage accounts receivable to minimize overdue invoices.
• Record, verify, and allocate incoming customer payments.
• Clarify payment discrepancies with customers and suppliers.
• Review and process credit card statements.
• Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Requirements

• Commercial training, further training as a financial accountant, or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Proficient in Excel (experience with formulas, pivot tables, and basic financial modeling).
• Quick learner & adaptability to new processes or workflows.
• Fluent in German (C1) & English (at least B2).
• High attention to detail and a structured, reliable working style.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and ability to adapt to different financial systems.
• Experience with Chargebee and/or DATEV is a plus!
