Accountant (Accounts Receivable & Payable) - Remote

Overview

As an Accountant (Accounts Receivable & Payable), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing payments, maintaining accounts receivable, and ensuring smooth invoice processing.

In Short

• Manage incoming customer payments and ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Clarify payment discrepancies with customers and suppliers.
• Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Proactively manage accounts receivable to minimize overdue invoices.
• Work in a dynamic startup environment with development opportunities.
• Participate in the implementation of an ERP system.

Requirements

• Commercial training or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic financial modeling).
• Fluent in German (C1) and English (at least B2).
• High attention to detail and a structured, reliable working style.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and adaptability to different financial systems.
• Experience with Chargebee and/or DATEV is a plus!
